Our Online community is a critical component of our overall community connection efforts. We are always looking for opportunities for connection and care. Whether you want to join our Citizen Scientist team on the Discovery Horizons message board, attend an online workshop, learn ways to implement the ROLE Model at one of our online trainings, reach out to our staff to ask about ways to join the team effort, or support our mission with your time or financial donation, our Online offerings are one way to become a contributor to discovering New Lands!
We offer online trainings to help educators connect with the philosophy and educational approach of the Role Oriented Learning Environment model. Integrating experience design elements with instructional design and pedagogy development, the ROLE Model is a powerful way to reach learners and help them become interested, engaged, and motivated to learn any subject.
We support Citizen Scientists in developing the databank of collectively gathered and published scientific data! Here we offer citizen-developed science tools, access to a community of citizen scientists, methods for creating your own local research projects, and consultation regarding publishing your work and interpreting your data. We want science to be in the hands of citizens and not locked away in the halls of the academy. Join us in exploring new horizons!
Our online shop is your source for NewLand Camps gear, access to our selection of ROLE Model teaching games for educators, a way to secure your reservations to our differnt retreat offerings, and a portal to accept donations for those who want to offer their financial support for our ongoing mission.
